We're starting to get quite good at this reading malarkey, why not point us in the direction of a decent novel or short story?
Now that sounds right up my street. Strangely I don't often like zombie books. Obviously the Max Brooks books are awesome. I'll definitely check this out though. I've often thought about zombie contingencies for the island. I'll check it out and let you know what I think. Thanks!
Anything by R R Haywood (hes an islander!)
His Undead series is epic if yorue into Zombies. Also its mostly based in the solent area, the charachters even have some adventures over on the Island Mushu!
His Extracted series is fab if youre more into sci-fi, probably one of the best time-travel concepts I have read.
He has written several other bits and bobs, most recently A Town Called Discovery which I am really excited about reading...when I get time to do so.
His characters are always brilliantly written, lovable, hateable and relatable, i can honeslty say I have never felt so invested in charachters as I am when reading his books.
The story lines are clever, and really captivating.
11/10 would recommend 😊
Well I'm firing off straight away with ready player one. Getting in before Sam lol. So far its amazing. I'm not even mad it's so different from the film.
